Ali Bastian is a well known British actress best known for playing the role of Becca Dean in the Channel 4 Teen Soap Hollyoaks

She was involved in a very controversial storyline in Hollyoaks where her character was sacked from her teaching job and sent to jail after having an affair with one of her students who was only 15. At the 2006 British Soap Awards Ali and her co star, who played Justin (Chris Fountain) won the award for best storyline.

In December 2005, alongside her Hollyoaks cast mates Jodi Albert and Sarah Jayne Dunn , Ali appeared in an exercise video called Hollyoaks Get Fit .

In January 2007 Ali left the show, with her final scenes broadcast on the 15 February 2007.

Ali can now be seen on ITV in the top soap drama "The Bill" playing character "Sally Armstrong"
